Resettable Master Caution?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone give a simple example of a resettable master caution light? I can make one that can be turned off easy enough, but having it re-illuminate if the original condition corrects itself and then reappears or another condition appears is where my knowledge level loses it. *grin?*

Hi,Here's an example of an engine overheat warning light which came up if one of the four engines exceeds 880

Exactly the type of example I was hoping to learn from... through trial and error of course. *grin* Thanks! (a side benefit is that excepting the temps involved, this exact example was on my list of things to do! 8bigger grin*)

Hmmm, I've played with this and played with it. I can't figure out what in the code prevents the gauge from loading at all in FS9.

I found my problem! (one little misplaced space *grin?*) Gauge works, code works, and you have my thanks... just what I needed to learn from and build upon!

Hi,Sorry for this delay but I was not online for the last days. I'm happy that you found the code useful. Yes, this was just an extract of a very large list of different functions. I could imagine that the code of a caution light gets quite a bit larger.Best RegardsMatthias
