Little joke I'm passing on

Here's a little joke from a Hovercontrol member I thought was funny:A helicopter was flying around above Seattle when an electrical malfunction disabled all of the aircraft's electronic navigation and communications equipment.Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position. The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it, circled, and held up a handwritten sign that said "WHERE AM I?" in large letters. People in the tall building quickly responded to the aircraft, drew a large sign, and held it in a building window. Their sign said "YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER."The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, determined the course to steer to SEATAC airport, and landed safely. After they were on the ground, the copilot asked the pilot how he had done it."I knew it had to be the Microsoft Building, because they gave me a technically correct but completely useless answer." LOL LOL!!:-lol

LOLI wouldnt actually say that this is true though. On the other hand, I spent an hour on tech support with them when they finally had me replace my FSX.cfg, fixing the original problem.

I though this was going to be the blonde pilot who during her helicopter solo turned off the engine in flight and landing hard in a field. The instructor ask her what happened. She replied, "that ceiling fan was getting me cold so I turned it off."Yeah I know.:-bla

Or one I haven't seen around for a while. The propeller in front of an aircraft is for keeping the pilot cool. The evidence for this is to turn it off and watch the pilot start to sweat!Steven.

Jim,The following is literally true ...Even though I'm 64 and had been hearing the song since it first came out, I could have sworn that the line in "Wooly Bully" was ...Let's don't be L7So for forty years I'd been hearing the line in my head that nonsensical way ... Only to learn that I'd been hearing it correctly, and that "L7" meant "square". Honestly, somehow I made it all the way through the sixties without ever having encountered the term ...... Just as my wife made it all the way through to this part of the first decade of the new century without ever having heard the term "tramp stamp", which had her screaming with laughter when I explained what it meant.
