Natural light inside VCs?

Recommended Posts

I have noted a number of otherwise very good a/c whose VCs are very difficult to use during daylight flight because the VC panel is too dark to see when flying at certain angles to the sun depending on time and direction. Others are nice and bright and flying in the VC is a pleasure. I believe this has something to do with the model.tectures and is not a panel lighting issue. Is there any way to lighten these A/c VC panels.?Thanks Barry

>Thanks Bill-- that is what I usually do -- but my question>really is , why are some a/c darker inside the VC than>others.??The fact that some VC models automatically turn on some interior lighting ?

Could also be the way windows are modeled....if they are solid, with an alpha for clearness (see-through-a-bility), then it will likely be dark....if they are modeled as transparent in gmax/fsds, then they will be brighter inside...Could be wrong, but that is how some rendering engines work....
