Stall speed

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have stall speed set in the aircraft.cfg file at 136 KIAS, but the aircraft stalls at 100 KIAS. How can I get the aircraft to stall at 136 KIAS?Thanks, nick

The entries in the .cfg are not read by FS. They are used by FSEdit.exe for calculations... (! donot use !)Reduce lift........................From flaps if dirty..From wing if clean..Regards,Roman(KGRB)

Hi Roman,Are there any places on this forum or at other sites I can go to, in order to download HOWTOS on using the AirEdit program?I assume this is the program you suggest Nick to modify the air files.I am aware of the few html docs contained in the AirEdit directory. But for instance, I do not see where there is information that shows one how to edit a table. When I click on lets say table 401, I can only view what is in it but there is no means in the window to manipulate the contents of the table. Thanks for any feedback,GeorgePS. I had downloaded AirEdit a few years back and don't even know where I downloaded it from. Perhaps there are new user manuals for this program I am not aware of.

Thanks nick,I had downloaded the free version of AAM days ago, intalled it. But it crashes on my system. I am using ME, and have had no problem installing and running many many programs. I sent a detailed error code description to the authors in hope they would get back to me as to why AAM will not run on my systems. They have not gotten back to me. The AAM code has a problem communicating with the windoze kernel for some reason. AAM caonot write to a particular address, I never see a GUI come up and get the error window. But thanks for the suggestion.George
