Robinson R44 Newscopter Helicopter

Recommended Posts

Guest okazou

Hello everyone.Does anyone knows where I could find an accurate "G-Max" model of the Robinson R44 helicopter in Version "NEWSCOPTER"? This helico is specifically designed for Television boadcasting. I know Abacus has published a payware R44, but the model presents basic features only.If any aircraft designer or group is interested to make one, A local TV station is mainly looking for A nice model with many details.

Welcome to the forumsThis forum is for the purpose of designers aiding and helping other designers vs. asking members to make a specific aircraft for you. It takes months and sometimes years to make a good model--especially a "nice model with many details". Since you're here, why don't you scan the forum for threads and tutorials on aircraft design, and give it a try yourself?-John

Thanks John for your reply. To be honnest, I prefer leaving that aspect of the hobby to those who specialise in aircraft construction. Personally, I have to learn and control how G-Max works and update my CYUL 2002 scenery I did in regards to the future versions of FS, which should be completely made in Gmax. That's why it has not been reworked for the last year or so.BTW the specific aircraft as you state may interest a lot of other simmers too, no? The idea is to check if anybody has ever worked or intend to, on this type of helicopter.Cheers

"BTW the specific aircraft as you state may interest a lot of other simmers too, no? The idea is to check if anybody has ever worked or intend to, on this type of helicopter."I am sure a R44 would interest many simmers--it certainly interests me. I am just saying that this isn't the forum where one would normally ask someone to build one--that is not the purpose of this forum and it's not really a point I am here to debate over. This link may interest you:http://www.xr311.com/It's been under development for some time, and seems the furthest along of all the R44 projects I have seen. Also, visit hovercontrol.com and post your question in the forums there. If it's a helicopter for MSFS, it's usually discussed there first.-John

Thanks Lasse. It was not evident to find your helicopters, being not uploaded on popular web sites like Avsim. I followed your suggestion and you're right. These Robinson R44, You designed are really accurate and fly well. Great job. Thanks to Brian McIntyre for the paintkit too.I like the idea of donnationware. Many simmers should understand how much time and patience are involved in the construction of such models. Try to make one yourself and you certainly will agree to give a donation for such a model, considering the efforts the author spent on them.John, You see, this forum has permitted to discover another good helicopter designer and my question has been answered. Keep on going! Thanks to all of You. :-wave

WOA! I am not Lasse! If I was, you would have gotten a much nicer and informative reply! Nice to see I accualy helped someone though. Swedbird is the one who inspired me to create helicopters for FS, and when I started, he helped me with all my problems.
