Terrain height at GPS coordinate

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what the reference point of real life radio altimeters is?Can anyone point me to a description of the structure of the terrain BGL files? The Reality-xp gauge does look nice. I speculate that it uses an algorithm to extact contour lines from the BGL files. I'm aware there are several algorithms that were developed in association with geographical database systems.
