FSDS and the visible axes

Recommended Posts

Anyone know of a way to extend the length of the exes as they appear in FSDS? Aligning axes using rotation mode and holding SHIFT would be MUCH more accurate and easier. I know. Use the RULER but Im thinking FAST and easy.I might be just hoping... but maybe someone has a trick.

Note that you'll have to type in the rotation offsets for the linked parts to "straighten" them outFelix/FFDSPegasus Aviation Design

I like the GMax method: Choose part, click on Affect Axis Only, Align to Part or Align to World... ;)Gee Felix, wherever did you pick up such great ideas?

>I like the GMax method: Choose part, click on Affect Axis>Only, Align to Part or Align to World... ;)OF course, in FSDS you don't need to worry about properly aligning the axis to the FS world since that's the default .... aligning to "part" would require the program to figure out HOW you want the #### thing aligned?Of course, I wouldn't mind the ALIGN tool that gmax/Max has...>>Gee Felix, wherever did you pick up such great ideas? That's the thanks I get for translating gmaxspeak into FSDSspeak..OF course, I have a jumble of terms and tools that I try.I did almost slam my monitor when my FSDS boolean wasn't working on two most simple parts, no matter how many attempts... Then I decided to try it in FSDS3 instead of FSDS2... ;)
