hello all. i am new to this forum and have a problem you might be able to help me with. i am in the process of making a military seaplane from my dads navy squadron, and want to make it as real as possible, is there a way to make the beaching gear "dissapear after seperating? i know that in lightwave i could animate the scale of the object as it moved away, is anything like this possible with fsds v3? i also have the ability to change file formats to other modeling packages. thanks in advance

You can link all the beaching gear parts (which are tagged as the appropriate landing gear to a corresponding x_wheelwell part, so that when the "gear" is "fully retracted" they'll disappear. Remember - the wheelwell tag is a visibility tag. All parts linked to a part tagged c/l/r_wheelwell will be visible when the gear is extending/extended, and not visible when the gear is retracted...
