Inertial Separator Switch

Recommended Posts

Guest greenco

Does anyone know if there is a XML variable or parameter that can be used to operate an inertial separator? I want to add one to my turbo prop aircraft panel. Thanks

No, there is no such variable in FS. You will have to provide your own, custom variable, such as:L:InertialSep, enumI suggest an "enum" type simply so you can define a "range" of open/shut, rather than just open/close.

Thanks,I was afraid that may be the case. I wanted the inertial seprator to have an effect on the engine, as it does in the Cessna 208.

You are probably looking for something like this (example for engine No. 2):(A:ENG2 ANTI ICE,bool) (>K:ANTI_ICE_TOGGLE_ENG1) (>K:ANTI_ICE_TOGGLE_ENG2)It is simply the ENG ANTI ICE variable that is used in the default C208 and has the effect on engine power that is usually associated with inertial separators, i.e. a slight drop in torque.
