One shot timed event

I'm having trouble getting my mind around this and could use some help. What I want to do is simulate water injection for an old military style jet using an XML gauge. I've tested the process using afterburner with a 10% boost and the results are about right. what I need to do now is limit this event to a one time only use for a max of 50 secs. I have searched the forum for timers,timed event etc. lookiing for help but what I've found hasn't been the right answer.

Hello TRY:- The timer (P:Absolute time, seconds) (L:Switch disengage timer, seconds) > if{ (>K:AFTER_BURNER_OFF) } The click (>K:AFTER_BURNER_ON) (P:Absolute time, seconds) 50 + (>L:Switch disengage timer, seconds) This works OK but not sure about Afterburner Value. (can't fly fast jets)

Hi,Not sure, but may be better to use:(P:Absolute time, seconds) (L:Switch disengage timer,seconds) > if{ (A:TURB ENG1 AFTERBURNER,bool) if{ (>K:TOGGLE_AFTERBURNER1) } } (A:TURB ENG1 AFTERBURNER,bool) ! if{ (>K:TOGGLE_AFTERBURNER1) } (P:Absolute time, seconds) 50 + (>L:Switch disengage timer,seconds)Jan"Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."

Thank you also. The first code works except I've been struggling withthe fact that afterburner is a toggle event.I'll give this a try.

Gentlemen (ladies?) I'm a happy man! That has worked just fine.I altered one of the "click" lines slightly so that this will now only work once per "turn-around".(A:TURB ENG1 AFTERBURNER,bool) ! (L:Switch disengage timer,seconds) > if{ (>K:TOGGLE_AFTERBURNER1) } Thank you again.
