Adding HSI to FS 2004 Cessna Skylane RG

Recommended Posts

Guest berniek

I've been trying to find the old tutorials on adding gauges but I'm not having any luck. The default Cessna 182 RG only has a VOR 1 OBS. I can successfully add a Cessna 208 HSI to the panel in place of the DG but the VOR 1 OBS is then redundant. I would like the VOR 1 OBS to function as a VOR 2. I've tried moving a 182RG VOR 2 to the panel in the VOR 1 location but when I turn the simulator on, although both the NAV 1 and the NAV 2 radios are set to the same frequency and radial, they don't both center. Is there a tutorial somewhere that can help with this? Or can anyone tell me what to do? Thanks in advance!!!

Try opening up the aircraft.cfg file and check whether NAV1 and NAV2are both enabled in the Radios section. If not, change some 0's to 1'sand you are flying..
