XML OnEvent handling in FSX ??

Recommended Posts

Hi,I was informed by a user of one of my FS9 freeware gauges, that this gauge isn't working properly in FSX-Beta.From everything he described, my first conclusion is that the OnEvent handling appears to work differently in FSX.In FS9, OnEvent code always worked after a gauge was loaded. In FSX, it appears that OnEvent only works if the gauge is in a window releated to a specific view.Eg: if you define the gauge in a VC-window, the OnEvent code is ONLY executed if you are in VC-view, and NOT in 2D or Spotplane view. Can anyone with the FSX-beta confirm my conclusion ???Or even better: is there a way to get it working as in FS9 ??Thanks, Rob BarendregtPS: My guess is that OnEvent now works the same as the OnKey in FS9: so the code only works, if the gauge is kept "visible" (that is: defined in a window that is kept active in all views).
