I have been using a Mini Panel, in FS2004, which I modified for the Lear Jet. I tried to import it to FSX.Below are the additions I made for the panel.cfg in FSX.Window08=Mini Panel[Window08]position=7size_mm=1204,424child_3d=1background_color=0,0,0ident=Mini Panelwindow_size= 1.000, 0.471window_pos= 0.000, 0.529gauge03=Lear_45.Light_Switches, 1020,295,172,124gauge04=Lear_45.PFD, 0,58,273,367gauge06=Lear_45.Autopilot, 780,72,420,90gauge07=Lear_45.Radio_Stack, 780,168,216,262gauge08=Lear_45.Gear, 1020,168,172,124gauge11=Lear_45!GPS Display Toggle, 900,30,40gauge12=Lear_45!Compass Display Toggle, 960,30,40gauge13=Lear_45!Throttle Display Toggle, 1020,30,40gauge02=Lear_45.Chronometer, 1070,25,80,45gauge14=Lear_45!Nav GPS Switch, 1162,20,30,50//--------------------------------------------------------I put the the mentioned gauges in the GAUGES folder. But the learjet keeps using its own Mini Panel.Would appreciate any help. Thanks.Abe

Thanks, Bill. I tried your suggestion and copied your files. It just did not work. Have you imported any Mini Panel to FSX? Do you have any other thoughts?Would appreciate any input. ThanksAbe

ThanksSorry Abe, I sure don't. I model aircraft and program gauges, so I've just never had the time to experiment with default aircraft... ;)

I had a similar problem in FS9 with my own aircraft trying to get rid of the default mini panel. What works for me is:(Window Titles)Window00=Main PanelWindow01=Mini Panel...(Window01)position=7size_mm=500,125child_3d=1background_color=0,0,0ident=MINIPANELgauge00=Spirit_of_StLouis!spirit_asi,0,0gauge01=Piper_J3Cub!compass,125,0gauge02=DeHavilland_Comet!Altimeter,250,0 gauge03=Spirit_of_StLouis!spirit_rpm,375,0As I remember the line "ident=MINIPANEL" has to use capitals with no spaces.Obviously replace the round brackets with square onesEDIT: Also note that the gauge numbering sequence restarts with gauge00 even though I have a gauge00= in the main panel.

For what it's worth I attach my complete panel.cfg file. It's a while since I made this but I do recall I had problems trying to get rid of the default mini panel. I tried lots of variations before I achieved that.// Panel Configuration file// Hawker Cygnet// Copyright © 2004-2005 Gerry Howard.
