Is it possible to know that ATIS has been tuned?

>Is it possible to know that ATIS has been tuned?>You mean aside from the obvious?ATIS simply uses a VHF COM frequency, so it should be simple enough to detect if the COM freq has been changed... ;)

No, I really mean that an ATIS is being broadcast on the tuned channel and the lil FS gremlins have begun texting it across the top of the screen.I suppose one could develop a database of ALL ATIS frequencies in the US, but that seems a bit duanting.

I answered before being fully awake... I misread your actual question...No, I cannot think of any way to detect if you are actually receiveing an ATIS message...

Thanks Bill... my question wasn't entirely clear, and so you assumed I was asking for the possible, not the impossible... possibly. =DThanks.
