UK Based Airliner Pilot Training

Recommended Posts

Guest kd001

I have no real-life flight experience but I am thinking of beginning an airliner pilot training. I am based in the UK and have got good A-level and GCSE results. From the research I have already done it seems that the only UK-based airline to offer sponsored training is easyjet. I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask for advice on this matter but I guess it is a good place to start. So if anyone can advice me on the best route to become an airliner pilot it will be much appreciated. Thanks

This is the best place for such info:www.pprune.orgRight now the airlines are parking planes left, right and center (which means lots of unemployed pilots out there). So if you do it, I'd stretch out your training as much as possible so as to finish at the start of the next upturn, which may be a few years a way, or perhaps even longer. But it's really anyone's guess.Cheers,Bryan
