Horrible VC resolution HELP!

Recommended Posts

Guest robertv

Hey all,I'm working on the VC for my Embraer 175-195 and am running into trouble with the resolution of the VC. I can get everything to work, the VC shows up in FS, i can position gauges, but the resolution of the gauges is horrible! Whatever size i make 'em, they are unreadable.PLease, are there any suggestions as to what i'm doing wrong? As things stand nhow i'm about to give yup and just release without a VC [:(]Many thanks in advance!Rgds,Robertp.s. the outside model:http://www.aircanadian.ca/emb195/acd195.jpg

Robert,As far as I can remember, the texture that you write your VC gauges to ($VC_something.bmp) needs to be high res. Mine are 512x512, and the panel.cfg entry for the corresponding gauge is:[VCockpit02]render_3d_window=1size_mm=300,300pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$VC_somethingbackground_color=1,1,1They come out crisp :) Don't go crazy on the size though, as the frame rate will suffer.
