Couple of new tricks in Max

Recommended Posts

Guest Patrick_Waugh

Thought I'd pass these along: a) When in poly create mode, where you click counter-clockwise to create a 4-sided polygon, if you double click on the 3rd vertex, Max will complete the poly for you! :( To PAN the camera (as you likely know), you can drag the middle mouse button, but if you hold ALT then drag, you will rotate! You probably know you can zoom with the mouse wheel too.Lastly: c) If you create a material that has it's opacity animated from 0 to 100 over 5 frames, you can apply this "modeling material" to your parts and then make them as transparent as necessary simply by scrubing the slider. :DEnjoy!Patrick
