Help with panel merge

Recommended Posts

I merged a payware MD-80 with a beautiful panel to a payware MD-80 with no panel. Everything is fine except the landing lights and wing lights won't shut off. I'm pretty sure the model file has to be altered but I need a program to be able to read and alter it. Can one of the experts out there give me a hand.

There is no program to read and alter .mdl files.

Thanks for the reply Ed. Is there anything I can do to remedy the problem? How are these files made by the developer?

I believe it's an issue with the method being used in the gauges to control night-lighting on panels/gauges/exterior that the version without a panel doesn't support.
