Source for Gauge Bitmaps?

Recommended Posts

Is there any good source for bitmaps of gauge bezels for vintage and modern gauges. I can make the scales OK but have trouble making decent looking bezels for the gauges. Thanks, regards, Bob.

eBay | Cars, Parts & Vehicles | Aircraft & Aviation. I've lifted literally hundreds of high-res pics from there.-DaiEDIT: Forgot to add that you could probably build a new Spitfire from what's being sold on there.... :(:-wink2

Edit period expired - gah! What I was going to add is....eBay | Cars, Parts & Vehicles | Aircraft & Aviation. I've lifted literally hundreds of high-res pics from that section. You could probably build a new Spitfire from what's being sold on there.... :(:-wink2The manufacturer's websites are also a good source e.g.http://www.sigmatek.com/https://commerce.honeywell.com (Bendix-King)Goodrich now seem to want an account set up :( but I think I got most of their standby instrumentation documentation a while back. Century and Mid-West seem to have disappeared from the web.-Dai

Hi Dai. Thanks. I looked there. I was hoping for a site that might have the FS type gauges with the screws and bezel showing. I am no painter. Best regards, Bob.

Hi Bobwww.flightsim.com - filename gaubmaps.zip. I knew I'd dumped them out somewhere. Bear in mind that these were created for/extracted from FS98 and FS2000, so they're 256 colours but please feel free to modify and use as you wish.-Dai
