FSX Fuel tank unbalance effect: ho to zero it?

Recommended Posts

Guest pv652

Hello everyone,I am one more guy suffering from exaggerated effects of even slight unbalances between wing fuel tanks.I'm working to get a Perfect FSX Piper 28-161 (that I know well from real life) and such roll instability is offensive to the friendliness of the real plane!May you help me to zero such FSX effect?I already know the trick of fooling the system and turning on BOTH tanks, but since it's impossible on the real plane I don't like this solution.I would like finding the correct parameter and zero it.Thanks for your attention!!! :-)Pier

Move the wings tanks closer to the center axis. In fact, you can obtain complete ZERO effect by placing the tanks ON the centerline axis! ;)

Ok! So, u load a plane featuring a BOTH fuel tanks position. U select both, then load the trouble plane: done! Just, real life tank switching is impossible to sim with this method :( Bye! P

Look in the aircraft.cfg file for this:
LeftMain  =  0.00, -10.45,  0.00,  25.00,  2.00RightMain =  0.00,  10.45,  0.00,  25.00,  2.00

Change the second parameter for each entry to 0.00...Simple!
