Aircraft.cfg How to change???

Recommended Posts

Guest

Does anyone know what it takes to change the original aircraft.cfg that comes with DF 737 to be able to use with another 737. I want to use the 400 configuration in a 737-800 that I fly in my airline and I'm not satisfied with how it behaves (it might be realistic though). The DF however feels better but we do not use the 400.

Just copy the new one and paste over the old one! Sam

Nope that doesn't work. Somewhere in the file there's a referense that got to be changed so FS can load the AC. Just don't know where.

Copy and paste the config as the other guy said. But rename the atc_airline, type and model to what you are using. Also rename the "UI_ lines"also the copied config should have a line that says sim=b737400 or similar. Thats pointing to the name of the airfile. So copy andpaste the default 734 airfile into your 800's folder. You'll not want to copy over the "contact points" section though as that is what determiones how it sits on the groundPete
