Jay,I have also upgraded to photoshop7 and very satisfied so far.It has a new feature called healing brush tool which helps editing damaged or unwanted parts of photographs. My scenery is here in the library http://205.252.89.41/library/sendfile.php?DownloadID=14857I am about to release an update version though. I had a problem with some transparent ground objects (only when shadows are enabled) and thanks to arno's tips , I am about to solve it...Well, Dan Martin and his friends are going to release their scenery soon and the screenshots they provide are terrific. To my experience, the quality of their job is always guaranteed.I am sure that it will spark more interest in designing airport sceneries with gmax.As I said before, using a few features of gmax is enough for making models or doing sceneries. Getting lost in millions of functions is easier on the other hand. Over the next days/weeks I plan to write down some basic tutorials to share my knowledge on it....all the best,Biber

Thank you very much Biber for your remarks about our work yours is not too shabby either!. Maybe we could pool what we know as far as gmax goes if you would like because once our little CYQT scenery is done we will be real busy with Toronto and area for both FS2002 and Fly!II and it will include 15 fully modeled airports and some reallyhi-res photo textures as well and yup it will be a big job(our scenery for Fly!2K took 8 months to do) Anyway so much for plugingmy self!http://members.rogers.com/klasik2/danlogo.gifhttp://members.rogers.com/eelvish/flyurl.gif

http://members.rogers.com/klasik2/navnite.jpgStill some tweaking to do on the colour of the lights on the ground, but you get the idea. Thanks for building that nightmare model Dan. Comes alive with textures doesn't it?I would like to thank Ted, Jim and Burt for the two CDs full of digital pictures that they took so all our buildings look like this in our scenery.Watch for our CYQT scenery release.http://members.rogers.com/jkanold/jimlogo.gifhttp://members.rogers.com/eelvish/flyurl.gif

Night textures are one of my next adventures, right after library object creation of GMAX objects.funny how I'm learning, not much time yesterday eve so I decided I'd answer once and for all if using extrude and/or bevel would produce the appearance of a seperate roof structure from the pentangular solid basic of a hangar. LOL So far, I think a seperate part ala fsds is indicated!Best,Bob B

>I heard somewhere that a FSDS2 is coming? Anybody confirm >this? Yes, I heard the same. But I don't expect it to have all the nice modelling options GMax has, so that is why I choose for GMax now and I don't think I am going to switch back to FSDS when it's there.ArnoMember NL2000 Teamhttp://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen
