NAVAIDS, ILS, DME ETC

Recommended Posts

I seem to have lost the above Navaids from Liverpool Airport, I have added a third party scenery (EGGP 2002 by Danny Rowlands) who tells me there are no navaids in his scenery they are all in the original. The only other thing I have altered that I know of is the agtes etc with AFCAD, that I believe does not alter the navaids in the scenery only in the map view. Can any one help/advise on where to look for these missing navaids?I wondered whether an exclusion file for the 3rd party scenery might delete them? (Clutching at straws!)

Further to the above I have now tried deactivating the 3rd party scenery and the navaids all function, until I reactivate it. I have contacted author to see if he can help can anyone else?

I have had a few more thoughts on the subject:1. Should all addon scenery be placed in the "ADDON SCENERY" Folder?2. I prefer to place it in a separate folder under "SCENERY", so I can easily delete a whole "area" if needs be.3. In past versions of FS it is recommended you place scenery areas in a certain order, does this file Hierarchy apply to FS2K2. In which case which file should I place Higher than the Liverpool Scenery? and would this affect the flatten/exclude files? Please help!!!!!!

Sorry for not making that clear it is just the airports ILS, DME. An NDB which is about 5 miles away works perfectly and so does the nearby Wallesey VOR. So I think it has to be something to do with the Scenery add on.

Not that I am aware of, The author of the addon scenery tells me there are no Navaids included in the scenery, should he have placed them there? Could I "design" a BGL with airport for windows which has just the ILS,DME & Glideslope details? I think I can have a go at that I have the Lat & Long & other Airport details. Thanks
