Two Airport 2.60 Qs for Newbie

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hello all you lucky experts;I'm doing my first Airport with Airport 2.60 ... a simple grass strip with a windsock and a hangar and an NDB. I have a separate polygon for the entire field, with a grass texture.1) Is it possible to change the flatten size with the mouse? if so, how?2) I placed a pre-existing hangar7.API on the field. It shows up on the Airport 2.6 window, compiles OK, but is not visible on FS2002. What basic procedure have I forgotten? The Windsock and NDB are where they belong and appear in FS2002 just fine. Thanks for the help.

1) click on a corner of the square describing the flatten area and drag it to where you like.2)is the hangar sized and textured? Perhaps once the elevation is established(1 above), it may well appear, also!

Hi Barney,Thanks for the two answers.1) The technique to adjust the flatten area sounds great ... will give that a try.2) Have since learned that I was using 3D objects from Airport 2.10, many of which will not work with FS2002. Upgraded to the full Airport 2.60 and now my hangar shows OK.Thanks for responding.Charlie
