How do you remove aircraft in a BGL file?

Recommended Posts

I am using some 2002 scenery for an airport that included the aircraft in the scenery *.bgl file. I want to get rid of these planes because they get in the way of the AI aircraft. How is this done? Thanks!Airbus

I don't think there is a "Static Scenery" switch. If there were one would think that disabling the static scenery would turn off every thing that stood still. If you mean the "Dynamic Scenery" switch then it should be turned off unless you have installed third party dynamic scenery, such as, aircraft, cars, tugs, etc.To remove static aircraft in a scenery *.bgl could be a big process if you don't have the source files for the scenery. It is possible to decompile some scenery to its source code, where you could modify the lines of code to remove the scenery in question. You would have to understand software coding to accomplish this job. Once the scenery is modified, it then needs to be recompiled and placed in the proper folder within fs2002.
