UK based virtual Flying Club?

Is there one...anybody? I am strictly a circuit basher, local jolly flight with tea and scones in the Club House type. Any on-line groups out there?Whilst writing, the De Havilland Tiger Moth RAF Update by Mike Hambly / John Woodside is a little beauty - go get it!Phil H.

Have never seen one, do you fancy the idea of starting one?I am not much of an expert in Flight Sim, but can write HTML, perhaps if we can find a few people we can get something going? What do you think?

Thanks for the response, Phil, I think it's a nice idea. Frankly I am too scaredy-cat to join up in games at the Zone, and just don't know enough about nav aids or ATC to conduct myself with any professionalism. If we had a "fly in" airfield, folks could flyin for a natter on Roger Wilco. If we had a CFI - he might even teach us to fly FS2002 with nav aids!Anybody else out there fancy a meet up on Sunday afternoon?Somewhere with quiet air space - how's about sleepy Perranporth?Phil.

Don't be scared, do some training and then join the big boys :-)Check out the 'Pilot information' section herehttp://www.vatsim-uk.net/vatsim-uk/And UK training herehttp://www.hawarden.org.uk/And here.http://www.ukvpo.org/This site is *still* under construction but has promise. They are holding a training night tomorrow at EGNT.Until the site gets going check out the vatsim-uk news group at www.simflight.com for announcements of training nights. You'll need to register with VATSIM and down load SB & RW first though to join the on line training, but they are all free.Be warned though, once you start it becomes adictive :-)Rgds
