Layering question

Recommended Posts

Guest

I have a road that I need to make so that it "appears" to go under a taxiway. I have made two road segments that meet at the taxiway. I then assign a layer to the road segments that is lower than the taxiway (which is a polygon, by the way). However, the roads still show up above the polygon. I have also tried a higher layer setting (against logic) and still the roads appeared above. Any help? Thanks

Which layers have you used for the roads and the polygon? It sometimes seems that roads always appear on layer 20, so you could try a higher layer for the polygon.Arno

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.

Arno,You're the man! I should start asking you question directly instead of posting. The layering above 20 worked. Also your tutorial on making GMax models API's was great. I didn't know about the scale thing though. I kept getting objects in FS that were double the size I created them. On another note, do you have a good example of how to use the ARC command to get curved taxiways. I have seem some posts about this but they are over my head. I havn't messed with SCASM much at all. Thanks
