Autogen altitude adjustment?

Recommended Posts

Guest Frank Betts

I am asking this question in a number of different areas. I am doing some scenery for the Bolivia area. Very High altitude stuff at times 13,000 ft. Is there anyway to get the Autoget to work up that high? There is obviously little vegitation but would like it up there anyway. Any ideas? ThanksFrank.

Hopefully, Frank, all that you need to do is create new landclass scenery for the area, selecting appropriate landclasses with Autogen vegetation. I'm not promising 100% that this will work successfully, however, as the mappings from landclass to Autogen vegetation are controlled by built-in code to which we have no access. There is a possibility that this code might detect the altitude of your mountains and suppress the vegetation accordingly, whatever landclass you are using - I'll leave the testing to you! If you do get this problem, there is a possible workaround, but let's cross that bridge when we come to it ...Hope this helps - let us know the outcomeGerrish
