Custom terrain textures and respecting copyright

Recommended Posts

Guest R5D4

First post ... :-newbie I have recently go into scenery design and, modelling my home city. I was about to use Landclass Assistant but tried using the new customer terrain texture sdk to add aerial images obtained from the web.The results are amazing (roads, railways etc) and I'm now adding bits of auto gen to make it even better. The aerial photos themselves images themselves are "tasters" captured from the web - i.e. lots of compression artifacts and screwed up color/brightness mappings. The company that produces them sells full hi-res versions. So my topic for discussion is - can I upload my scenery when finished to avsim or will I be infringing copyright? :-hang
