FS system variables

Hi guys!I am designing a dynamic scenery for my airport and I would need a little help with variables. So far I have discovered that 7BE is used for COM1 frequency but does anybody know variables for NAV1, NAV2, ADF? Also a tip on raising or decreasing height of stairs to be on the on appropriate height of aircraft would be veery appreciated. I was think on variables such as 33A or 33B but so far I have not designed any scenery that would raise or lower object regarding of the type of aircraft. Sample of code is also appreciated... :)Many thanks in advanceGoran

Hi Goran,ADF - 7BCCOM - 7BENAV1 - 7C0NAV2 - 7C2Transponder - 7C4 (doesn't seem to work in Fs200x)OK, don't laugh, source if this knowledge is the Fs98 SDK, that one contains a nice list of all variables available :). I haven't tested them all, so they might not all work as expected. And about your height question, I have been thinking about that a lot. Haven't found a nice solution yet (I don't want to have to select a different freq for a different plane or so, as I think that is too complicated). While I write this and read your post I come up with a nice idea. When it works I'll post it here again :).Arno

Hi Arno!If no one knows, then You surely know the answer! :DMany thanks for Your reply. I was looking into FS2000 SDK, FS2002 SDK's, SCASM tutorial on combatflight.de... But I do not have FS98 SDK. Maybe You have a link to it so I can look there for some extras also?Oh and about that height problem. I am really looking forward for Your idea. But one question though. Do you make dynamic sceneries also? What do You use? I currently do it by hand with a little help of FSSC regarding points and it goes so slooooow....Thank You again!Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net

Yes, I am also trying to make dynamics gates etc. I am using GMax to make the animations for me. After that I tweak the BGLC code a bit to get the effect I want.Arno

Hi Arno! With designing dynamicscenery I meant dynamic scenery with aircraft and ground wehicles; do You do that? And what sw do You use? And may I say thanks for gmax tutorials but gmax is a little complicated for me at this time and spare time is a luxury for me nowadays ;(Anyway thank You for all Your answers!Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net

I also plan to add some ground vehicles etc. I think I will use the old DOD for that. But not sure yet. I am not going to do planes, as AI is just perfect for that.Arno

Hi Arno!I have played around with those variables and it seems that they do not work. I tried to start let say Follow me wehicle when user turns ADF on 918 kHz but no luck. Then I changed ADF for well proven COM and frequency on 118.00 MHz and also no luck. Have You played with these variables also or maybe found out in documentation if dynamic scenery accepts these variables?Regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net

I have used the NAV2 freq in my GMax animations and that works fine. But when you try to use these variables in the section 15 dynamic scenery I am afraid it will not work. It seems the SCASM IfVarAnd commands only work in section 9. Some time ago I tried it with the section 15 too, but without success.Arno
