NovaSim and Gmax?

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hello people,Just when I was about to start digging into GMAX, NovaSim has appeared into the scene!! Since I really enjoyed Nova to create macros for FS2002 but decided to move to GMAX so I could make sure my scenery would be compatible with FS2004 in the future, I would like to know if 3D models created with NovaSim will function as GMAX models? It mentions something about floating points, so does this mean that it will be like GMAX models or not?? Thanks for any help on this before I decide to go with one of them..

Here's a quote from NovaSim's docs:"NovaSim therefore uses, with a few exceptions, only the new floating point command set (as also used by the gMax tool supplied with the Professional Edition of FS2002). This gives improved frame rate performance and should provide forwards compatibility with future versions of Flight Simulator (NovaSim will be updated as necessary when these new versions are released)."Best, Rob

http://avsim.com/flightdeck/images/Radar_small.gifBeta tester for http://www.jdtllc.com' target="_blank">Radar Contact] the premier ATC adventure add-on for FS
