Hi AllWeather I have CellGrid installed or not my mind seems to still see the lines and represents the Dawning age of FS scenery design. Check this one out. :0Ken

Hi Ken.It does look strange, doesn't it... gridding the world off in LOD13 sections? With TDFCalc3 ( and the FSUIPC interface ), and Cellgriding the scenery, you can get all those LWM or VTP points you need. Doesn't give you a list like your little program, but I'm still using pen and paper for a lot of this. :) Maybe TDFCalc4 will generate a list of points from a key combination within FS2002, via FSUIPC. I could have a switch for LWM or VTP1 or VTP2 points... then it could spit out some BGLC code for the Area. It's too bad I can't draw an LOD13 Area border to the sim on the fly. Then cell grid wouldn't be needed at all. It actually may be possible to use FSUIPC to force the slewing plane to stay inside the LOD13 Area...Dick

I really like that CellGrid. It just makes visualizing and aligning so much easier. So far, I have placed grids over a large part of the world. Here is Lake Havasu:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3db2a55a3113177b.jpgAnd the default Paris:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3db2a5a531f3dd91.jpgAnd with a small part laid down for alignment purposes:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3db2a5fc32dfb2b9.jpgJust my luck - they both happen to be at the intersection of 4 LOD8 cells.I even like flying (the little that I get to do) much more with those lines! Thanks, Dick.Best regards.Luis
