Piece-ing the maps.

Is anybody aware about any program which would allow to piece (copy and paste)together parts of the map into one high res background? Thanks for help and informations.Ted

I had the same issue with 3 high res photos... I didn't find one cure all solution. I attempted to use panoramic stitching software, but had no luck. I decided to use graphic software with a clone tool... and finally got things to works out. Basically overlap the photos as best you can and then use a clone tool to get things just right...If you figure something out, let me know!David

Thanks David,What I had in mind is a program which would stitch large amount of submaps into one big one. I have 5000 small pieces which are numerically named and I need to somehow "order" them to jump together in proper sequence. But I guess, 5000 pieces task will wait and for other smaller projects simple "copy and paste" will have to suffice at least till we come accross something better. Ted
