Hi Michel!I have downloaded Your scenery and I msut say it looks great. I have noted smooth rotation of radar and light beams; which variable did You use? Tick_18? And the next thing, maybe to all, where have You got photoreal ground for airport? I tried to get it for my airports in Slovenia but they want a heap of money...Regards and merry christmasGoran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net

Hi everybody,Thanks so much for the positive feedback about the scenery! Thanks Arno and Luis for your continous help :)Goran, the rotation in the radar and beam are done with the Tick_18 indeed and it was the first time I tried them and it works pretty well. Be sure your Gmax object scale is 1 unit = 1 meter and do not use the scaling tool in gmax to resize your object otherwise it will not work and finally you must export the animation with the MakeMDL that comes with the SDK and not the one that comes with FS2k2As for the airport ground layout It is not a photoreal satellite image, I paint it myself :) I have some classic painting background so I used it to render in Photoshop the airfield based on little photos. Me too I could not find a good resolution image for the airport , this is why I had to paint itMerry Christmas!Michel

Hi Michel!Thank You for Your answer. I will try to use tick_18 although I use FSDS V2. Regarding painting the ground. My jaws just felt on the ground :-eek; that is amazing! I persume You used VTP polys for gorund? And sorry I have to ask You. I find a little step with sea on airport level, so I persume You had problems with flatten also. You did a really good job, I must say!Regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net

Hi Michel,Looks great!Although my old PC here didn't really like it (can't wait to try it at home on my normal PC), it look really nice when I slewed around it.One thing, when I look at the docking systems (they looked familiar :D) they always say "TOO FAR", I thought you had solved that one too? :)Arno

Interesting :)The ones I know have are Safegate systems, for my new version of Schiphol I also want to make a Safedock and an AGNIS system. So if we could join forces that might safe both of use some time.I don't know what kind of system you are making?Arno

OK. The safedock system I talked about is also similar to the safegate (both are a small box hanging on the terminal :)), but the display is a bit more digital and also the directional indicator (left/right) is digital, where it is a sort of bar in safegate (just like in my current API, if you have seen that :)).And also a merry Xmas of course :).Arno

Hi everybody, thanks so much for your encouragement and positive comments about the scenery :)Goran, I painted the ground layout of the airport with PhotoShop then using Architect2002 Photogrid option I cut it and layed out the airport ground. Then Luis helped me integrate a code in the photogrid section to make the grid becomes Autogen friendly since it used to exclude autogen. The only objetcs that is excluding Autogen in my scenery are the runways. And I will see if I can come up with a solution for that. I did not use VTP polys but I used LWM ones generated with AutoAsm by Chris Wright. I di the whole coastline with it and it looks as in real life :)Arno, if I understand the AGNIS are not working in the scenery? I thouhgt i fixed them with the macro version you sent me!! I will take a look at it thanks for mentioning that :)Cheers!Michel
