Water and Transportastion ONLY

I made some BMP's and tried to place them over the default, but all I get is white area with water and transportation. What color is used for transpartent overlay, or is this not posssable? I keep hoping someone will come up with tools simular to TerraScene, but no feedback as of yet.Richard;

Where and how do you use these bitmaps? That would help to know...

I user TerraScene to convert data to *.TGA then to *.BMP.I used FS Resample to get the correct immage size.I use TerraBuilder to slice up the image and create BGL.I use FXTEXCONVERT 2000 to convert the *.BMP'sRichard;

CUSTOM textures placed with a resample-produced BGL ( either as landclass or photoreal ), use the alpha channel as water. There is no way to get transparency to my knowledge.Dick

As Dick said, custom terrain textures made by Resample can only use the alpha channel for water. You need to do the ground again with VTP-method to be able to have 8bit textures with the alpha channel representing transparency./Sebastian
