FSDS2 object size

Recommended Posts

Guest MikeEppright

I have created numerous objects in FSDS2 and then converted them to API files for placement using "Airport". Problem I am having is that if object is 5 units by 1 units sometimes when I place it in Airport it is 5 x 5. Problem is as users taxi up to building in question, they encounter a building crash before getting to visible building. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

Are you sure that you have no unused points or something like that outside your object? This can cause the size to get wrong.Arno

For reasons I am not intimately sure of, I got my problem fixed. It would seem that scaling is a factor. I had apparently scaled the project down. When I went back into FSDS2 and scaled the project larger the problem went away after proper sizing in "Airport".
