Rebuilding an airport

Recommended Posts

Guest Richard Hill

I have for the moment resigned to TerraScene 2.1 scenery untill I find a method of using this data to build FS2002 texture scenery. I am wondering how I can rebuild my local airport.I have a DXF file of the upgrade of my local airport KCKB, the default position is off, the taxiway is also wrong. 1. What is the best program to useto create the file.2. How do I replace the default asirport.Richard;

>1. What is the best program to useto create the file. I use GMax for the objects on my airfields and usually GroundMaker for placing the taxiways etc.For one airport, Schiphol, I also have a DXF file of the airport and I am working on a converter that makes SCASM code out of that (I hope to have a beta of that tool running in a week or so).>2. How do I replace the default asirport. You can best make an exclude for the default scenery and just replace it by your own creation. How to do this has been discussed often here, you should be able to find it.Arno

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
