lol, on the light side, you know we couldn't do it either until we tried. many of "us" right now are first timers. read this board...several folks here are really on their first project. This is a very friendly place for beginners.the only difference between you and me is I decided to start a long time ago. we always need new designers! Seriously, give it a try...GOBS of fun, even from the start.Best,Bob Bernstein

If I could figure out Gmax I would jump right in. I for the life of me just can not wrap my head around it. :-lolI'll stick to the repaints for now (Author: 'Dan Port' in the AVSIM library) and then maybe try it in the hopefully not to distant future. Maybe I can get a 10 year old kid to teach me. :-lolhttp://www3.telus.net/midget_ice/Radar_small.gifThis ain't no game kid!http://www3.telus.net/midget_ice/Radar_small.gifhttp://www3.telus.net/midget_ice/dansig.jpg

Well, Dan, if I were you, I would do this the simple way. Just exclude the entire airport and then inlay a park in there. Probably take about 3 minutes. This is most likely the most realistic representation of the future, unless the report of the destruction of Meigs Field was just an April Fool's joke by AvWeb.Best regards.Luis

Hold on.... Don't tear up the FS runway yet... There are still a bunch of planes that need to get out of there. We have the only runway that works. Heard this morning that the stranded planes may belong to some Docs that are attending a function at McCormick Place (Large flat black building at the south end of the field, for those not from the area). My guess is the city is going to see some huge bills to tow some aircraft to other fields and don't forget the hotel bills for the delayed departures. Al

I guess the taxiway at Meigs is big enough to get into the air if you really need to (sometimes I am to lazy to taxi and do the same in FS :D).But I guess it would be better to leave the field in FS, just becaise we all know it :).Arno

I am thinking of looking for pictures of city hall and painting a bullseye on it in FS scenery. Think the guys on CFS could use another ground target?:-hang Al
