Easiest way to add trees?

Hi all - I'm feeling a big need to add trees around my local airports... plus, then, I suppose, the ones I like to fly to.(My locals are KVAY South Jersey Regional and N14, Flying W) The guide I'd be using are Simcharts, which, just like "real" ;) charts show tree masses surrounding airports.(Of course, if I could add power lines too...)Thanks,Andrew

Hi AndrewI'm not the expert on the blockI would advise using Gerrish Gray's trees(Freeware), download from flightsim.com/Version 3 I think and using something like Airport 2.6 or others, to add his macro's in your sceneryNot sure whether his trees would be applicable to your part of the world in the USPowerlines might cause a greater problemRegardsDave

I agree on the trees, I would advise those of Gerrish too.For the powerlines, in our scenery we have added on the poles that are placed along the route of the line. In the Netherlands you only have rather big poles (the lines are distributing the power over the country, the distribution to the house is all below the ground) and then that gives you the idea of the power line running there. I don't know if you would get the same effect to a smaller pole.

I would also suggest an alternative that might be a bit friendlier on frame rates. You could use Christian Fumey

That coud work, but around an airport you can easily get the autogen excluded in a bigger aera then you want. So if you pay special attention when desinging your airport this should work, otherwise macros are better I think.
