Ground2K - a couple of discoveries

Recommended Posts

Guest hefy_jefy

Here's a couple of little oddities that I have discovered,1. If you want a road or shoreline to finish exactly at a particular place, with a square end, you need to place one more point very close to, but just beyond, the last required point.2. If you make a shoreline (choosing white sand with surf) with only two points, start and end, then the shoreline does not appear, but the surf effect does, useful for jetties, harbours etc...Here's part of Moss_landing (power station, bridge and roads still on their way) Geoff

Two notes:Make sure you use Shoreline and nor Coastline.Place a gravel road 63 meters (default) wide on top of the Shoreline to make a realistic jetty.Picture attached..Thanks for hints,Dick
