is fs2k2 an fs2k scenery interchangable??

hellois it possible to use fs2002 scenery in fs2000.i mean if one were to replace fs2k scenery files with fs2k2 scenery files,will i be able to get all fs2k2 airports in fs2k also??thank u very muchbi bikunal

Hi!Normally it is not possible but maybe some of sceneries will work if they use instructions meant up to FS2000. Roads, rivers, polygons under airfields, etc (so called VTP and LWM scenery) will definitely not work.Also if designer uses DXT textures, they won't show up in FS2k as they were introduced with CFS3/FS2k2.But the best to do is to try!Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net

Also things made with GMax or FSDS2 will not work in Fs2000. Scenery made with FSDS1 or the other programs that were used for Fs2000 should still work fine.
