Humm, do you want to copy files from Fs4 to Fs2? I think there are not that many people around here still using it. I am not sure if the formats are the same as well.

Do you perhaps mean FS2002 and FS2004?

That takes me back.. BAO Hawaii, Tahiti and the Californian set of three floppies.. :)And the Grand Canyon of course, West Europe Scenery Disk and finally Great Britain on three floppies..Was it really ten years ago?I don't think any of these would have worked in FS2 - it only had a four color palette..Methinks you've abbreviated your FS version descriptions too much..boneshttp://fsaviation.net

Would FS2 and FS4 Even be windows compatible?(Those were actually by SubLogic, right?)

Hi,FS4 can even run under Windows XP, honestly! Under Windows 98 I think there shouldn't be any problems.I never saw FS2 in action, I started with Flight Simulation by PSION on ZX Spectrum, the next one was FS3 for Atari ST and a little bit later for PC. Speaking of downward compatibility from Fs4 to FS2 I think that maybe it is somewhat compatible, but usually downward compatibility is not guaranteed. In every new format, there are some additions that are not compatible with previous version... It doesn't cost You much just to try merging those scenery files, maybe You should need to change extension only (I think in FS4 times BGLs weren't bgl's but something else, I don't remember). But generally speaking, roots of FS1 are still present in FS2004 so maybe FS4 files could play in FS98, FS2000 also :)Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net

Since we're reminiscing... don't forget:* Full auto flight mode for beginner pilots.* Adjustable scenery complexity and selectable scenery details.* Automatic weather system generation.* Structured flight assignments to 26 major U.S. cities.* Over 350 airports and 480 nav-aids.* Accurate instrument panels for each different aircraft.* Time acceleration up to 16x for long duration flights.* New graphic drivers that enhance the display of all SubLOGIC scenery add-ons.And it only required the following:640K, MS-DOS 2.0 or above, hard disk drive. Supports VGA/EGA/CGA, SoundBlaster (voice requires expanded memory), AdLib, mouse, one or two joysticks. All on one (1) 3.5" disk!!!Plus; hour after hour of wonderful entertainment... oh, we've come a long way since then... but I for one, have my doubts that FS2k4 (or any other modern sim) will match the sheer delight of A.T.P.
