BGL format

Recommended Posts

I am a gauge developer (good C/C++ knowledge), and for a new Navigation Display, I am trying to read the FS2002/2004 BGL files to extract the VOR, NDB, ILS, Airports and Fixes.I have read the FS2002 Scenery SDK, but I really couldn't understand it... not even with the biggest efforts. In addition, I am not familiar with MASM macro-assembler.I'd like to know if a scenery designer could help me in understanding this. Thanks in advance !!Eric

Hi Eric. The FS2004 BGL structure is new, and we don't know how to code it. Christian Stock has been trying to get some assistance in breaking the code. You might try to contact him.The panel and gauge forum is probably the best place to go if it's gauge info you seek.Dick
