What tools is needed for changing the terrain?

Recommended Posts

Guest Cougar_DK

Hi I'm still a newbie in this MS world and excuse me if I'm asking a stupid question...but I will take my chance... ;-)I'm living in Denmark on Sealand and east of Sealand is a little Swedish island called Ven. It highest point is 132 meters but in FS2004 it is really flat.So what tool should I use for "raising" the ground level? What tool do I use for making the Ven look a little more like the real thing, i.e. textures and the shape of the island?CheersMarkDenmark

Hi Mark!More or less You will need mesh design tools and gooooood data to make a mesh. With detailed mesh You can get also more "closer to reality" shores but for this job I would recommend You Ground2000. With it You can rework coastline, change roads, rivers, railroads... and at the end, if Your island is really basic looking at the terrain, then You can also do some kind of remeshing. My answer is more or less general, but when You will stuck to some explicit problem, do not hesitate to post Your question here or on Arno's page www.scenerydesign.org!Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net
