LIGHT_LAND problem in 2004

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi,I have made lots of lighthouses for fs2002 in Gmax which I was pleased with and have been poular. The lights were LIGHT_LAND and animated to rotate which gave just the desired effect of a slow flash like the real thing. The problem is, in fs2004 they have changed the way LIGHT_LAND is displayed and now the lights dont have a shining point of light that is visible from a distance anymore, they only illuminate objects and the ground area in front of the light.I want a nice simple way (I wish) to make the lights shine again ( there are 50 or so bgls to edit ), any ideas anyone ?:-sun1

Would just adding a normal light dot at the center not give the effect you mean? The only problem is then that you need to turn it off when the beam is not shining at you.
