Startup parameter to select flight ?

Recommended Posts

Hi,Does anyone know whether this is still possible and what the syntax is to specify a specific flight to have FS2004 come up with that ? I think it used to be possible with earlier versions of FS, not sure whether this still works with FS2004.This is useful to start FS in the middle of nowhere (where loading is a bit quicker) for scenery object design.Regards,Siggy

Problem solved. Simply pass the full path and file name like e.g.:"c:Documents and SettingsMy DocumentsFlight Simulator Filestest.flt"as the command line argument to fs9.exe.

You can also set a certain flight as default (in the flight selection menu if I remember correct). Then that flight will be loaded on startup. I have set this to previous flight and disabled the startup menu and then you go to the last place you where before exit.
