I am interested in getting a steering wheel for my PC. Alot of them come with accelerator and brake as I have found. I don't want garbage and was wondering what the best force feedback unit is? Also, should I get force feedback? And while your at it, give me your opinion on the best INDY type racing sim out there. This is my first attempt at racing sims.I saw a Logitec force feedback unit in the store for 120.00 dollars. Is this a good deal?Thanks for your help.Roy "Turnip" HylandKnowledge equals toys. It's only for computers and a very nice layout with no banners.The prices there are the cheapest from anywhere else. Roy, we have a forum for racing sims here. It is called the "Racing Fools Forum" and is down near the bottom of the main forum page. I'm sure you can get all kinds of opinions on steering controllers in that forum. Let me know if you need help finding it.

I have the Microsoft Force Feedback racing wheel, and I love it. It's USB, as is my Microsoft joystick, so I can plug them both in at the same time and use the pedals for the rudder control in FS2002. Since the pedals are actually connected to the wheel, you have to tell FS2002 how to configure both the joystick and the wheel. The rudder control is assigned to the pedals, and nothing is assigned to the wheel itself. Then the wheel just sits on the table.I'm new to the racing sims, but I can tell you that the wheel is fantastic, and I love the force feedback. The steering is very tight, and the base is nice and heavy so it doesn't move while you're driving.OzzieYank
