How do I get white snow textures?

Unless I need a new set of glasses, it seems that I can't get white to show up on the ground at MSP in the winter (or anywhere for that matter) GF3 Ti 500 and Athlon XP 1800+.Hmmm... Any ideas?

Snow on the ground seems to depend on weather settings, particularly temperature and clouds. Try setting your temp low and put some clouds low and turn on precipitation to snow.

Doing a quick VFR flight in a dhc-6 from Fairbanks to a small lake north, using FS Meteo, I started getting snow, with just a little white on the ground. As I flew farther north, got a little more snow and the ground turned completely white. Wish I'd taken a screen shot.Joe

There are problems with seasonal variations in the production release of the simulator. One would hope that MS would release a new terrain/scenery SDK so we can get to work to fix it.

This is so true Orlando. All of my flying is done in Alaska. Nothing ####### me off more them seeing brown dirt or ground anywhere during winter in Alaska. Same goes for ice. Those 2 things are the biggest gripe I have. Don Moser
