Autogen and airport polygon

Recommended Posts

Guest Wazza

Hi guys, I am busy creating an airport using AFCAD 2.11 for the taxiways, aprons, and runway and gMax for the buildings. I have one problem though, the airport I create ends up having some trees and buildings appear through it as the "airport polygon" (I think thats what it is called) is not large enough. I would appreciate any help on what to do to move the trees and buildings back (autogen) or to make the airport polygon larger as this appears to remove them. Thanks in advance.Warren Baier

You have at least two options:- create a SCASM exclude, which should get rid of buildings and trees.- alter the airport ground polygon by using a program like Ground2K.I use the latter option, since I think it's a little neater, and lets you customize the look of the airport.- Martin

Thanks for the response Martin. I have got Ground2K4 and attempted what you suggested but I have no idea what to do. Would you be able to to make the file for me and then I can edit it if need be on my side. It is for the Whangarei airport in New Zealand, Oceania (the default scenery).Thank you so muchWarren
