First off the example in the docs is wrong (but you probably figured that out already):should be:Second, by "not work" I assume you mean getting ATC to recognize it. It appears that this requires the airport to have at least one runway defined (which sorta makes sense given how ATC works). I tried it without a runway and was able to see the COM freqs in the GPS but not on the ATC menu. With a runway, all was well. Here's the sample I tried, along with a FLT file that loads you up on the runway:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> 80" ident="KTAX" alt="100" name="Taxiway Signs" country="United States" state="Washington" city="Arlington"> 80" alt="100" surface="ASPHALT" heading="10" length="10F" width="10F" number="1" designator="NONE" patternAltitude="304.799988" primaryTakeoff="YES" primaryLanding="YES" primaryPattern="LEFT" secondaryTakeoff="YES" secondaryLanding="YES" secondaryPattern="LEFT"/>

Thanks tdragger.Found the same myself after a bit of experimentation (funny how it always looks so simple when you've done it :-) )I've now managed to put together a complete simple working airport including comms, navaids and stuff which I've done a post on. Might save people a bit of time as I've come across one or two more 'funnies' in the SDK
